Demo / Writing Stage
We can be part of this stage by helping with pre-production days to ensure your music is the best it can be. We offer our experience in songwriting, arrangement and instrumentation to help make those decisions to best suit where and who your music will be aimed at.
Recording, Mixing and Production
This is part of the process where we put 'song to tape' and capture the sound you have in your head to create your music with the most integrity. Our experience and expertise continue during this stage in order to make sure that you are getting exactly what you want as well as having a piece of music that is best suited for delivery. For artists that need session musicians to cover part of the song; WE HAVE YOU COVERED! Our Producers are able to play most instruments so do not fear.
Artist After Care
part of the process that a lot of artist may struggle with and a lot of the time underestimate, the hard work starts once your song is recorded and mixed. At Matchbox Productions, artists have the choice for us help with the entire release from Mastering, Distribution, Press Kits and maximising your songs exposure.

Artist After Care
Our after care scheme is a unique service where we help maximise an artists release by combining all of our knowledge, skills and services to see artists through the entire release schedule.
Example After Care Schedule:
1 / Mastering
Once we have finished mixing your track(s), the next step is Mastering. This process best prepared your new track(s) for distribution and adds that final 'sheen and sparkle'. At Matchbox Productions we have a great network of Mastering Engineers in who we source your tracks to totally in house, with nothing for you, the artist, to worry about.
2 / Artwork
Whilst your track is off with mastering, we now look at your Track(s) artwork. This part helps give your track a visual identity which will be seen when fans listen to it. Wether it be Graphic Design based or Photography based, we can take your ideas and turn them to reality. During this process we can also look at the 'Canvas' which is the moving artwork that streaming services can incorporate.
3 / Music Video
Adding to the visual element of a release, we can incorporate a music video shoot. Like the artwork, we can collaborate with you, the artist, to create a music video which represents you and the track(s) the in the best way. All directed, shot and edited in house.
4 / Press Photos
What we believe to be a must for any release, Press phots will be a driving force in promoting your new track(s). These Press Photos will be incorporated in your social media post schedule and EPK (Electronic Press Kit). Photos will be directed, shot, and edited in house by us.
5 / Distribution
This is the process where your track(s) get uploaded to be distributed to all of the streaming services and online stores. Now that we have the Master, Artwork and Canvas, we can upload your track(s) in enough time to put it in the best position possible for playlisting.
6 / EPK (Electronic Press Kit)
We will complete you Electronic Press Kit which is a file that will be sent to Radio Stations, Labels, Booking Agents etc and will include snapshots from your whole release plan.
7 / Radio / Playlist / Blog Plugging
Using our database of contacts for places such as BBC Introducing, Radio X, Amazing Radio etc as well as Blog Posters and Song Reviewers, we will submit your track(s) to be considered.
8 / Social Media Schedule
We will help create a whole release schedule for your release which will span weeks either side of your release so that you, the artist, know exactly what your posting every day during your release campaign.
